There is a blizzard outside right now so we figured it's a perfect day to stay inside and play a board game! Here is a Yahoo! Buckaroo commercial that we recorded in 1992.

We don't really remember this board game but we do know that the game was made by Milton Bradley and released in 1991. The object of the game is to get as many cowpokes on the bull as you can. And when a cowpoke lands on the bull, you must yell "YAHOO!". If you have the most, then you win!!

There is no way anyone can make an 80's 90s blog without Tony the Tiger proclaiming his most famous line, "They're Greeeeat!!"

There is no way anyone around age 30 who doesn't remember these commercials with Tony the Tiger proclaiming this line while competing in an extreme sport.

I think every single person in this video is wearing a sweater. I think that the guy in the argyle sweater is wearing a sweater and he is rude for interrupting the girl in the pink sweater. Then I think the girl in the pink sweater gets annoyed at the guy in the argyle sweater. Then the girl in the purple bodysuit sweater wants the girl in the pink sweater's autograph! Next, the girl in the green sweater caresses the car with her old white sweater that she now uses as a rag. The guy in the argyle sweater doesn't like that and tries to leave but the girl in the pink sweater pulls him back. AND ALL THIS TIME THEIR HAIR NEVER MOVES!

I'm in love with this Cherry 7up commercial. I don't know if it's the music, the black & white cinematography with the pink overlay, the loser dweebs trying to chase some tail on a Friday night, the fact that it was filmed at the Miss America diner in NJ, or the very cute girl in the '57 Thunderbird.......

I think it's the very cute girl I'm in love with most. Who is she? Where'd she go?? To be continued.......

Ok, this guy just bought his wife a glass of Scope Mouthwash for Christmas. And right before she gets upset and starts calling him an inconsiderate, cheap bastard, he whips out the Mistletoe. Mr. Smooth and his wife then proceed with a make-out session. So somehow he figured out a way to spend pennies on his wife's gift while simultaneously insulting her breath...and in the end he's getting lucky that night. Amazing power of the Mistletoe???

Remember when everyone wanted R.O.B. for Christmas?? And remember when the lucky kids who got R.O.B. barely used it because it was only compatible with TWO games??? And remember when those kids who DID use it found out that the two games they were stuck with sucked???? HAHAHHA I don't remember this because I was one of the "unlucky" kids who never got R.O.B!!!!!

It's that time of year when everyone should spread their joy and cheer to your fellow man so we wanted to share this series of videos with our visitors!

Back in 1991, a group of very special people got together to make "Bright Hopes for the Holidays". It was originally aired on a Philadelphia public access station and it features talented people singing songs of Christmas and other Holiday favorites. It was created to lift people's spirits, it has lifted ours... and we are sure it will lift yours!!!

Bedrock Gladiators

I never liked Cocoa Pebbles cereal. As soon as milk hits the cereal, it turns into a soggy mess, and it gets worse every second after that. Maybe the Soggies have something to do with it?

I'm assuming that Post was milking (pun intended!) the American Gladiators fame that was occurring at the time of this commercial. Gladiators ran from 1989–1996 but was then restarted again in 2008, to be canceled shortly thereafter in 2009.

Gladiators is gone but Cocoa Pebbles is still around? WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?!!?!

MAYDAY, MAYDAY!! Chinese spy satellite falling to earth!

Here is an "NBC Nightly News" segment hosted by Tom Brokaw that was shown on March 11, 1996. At the moment of taping this segment, a Chinese spy satellite was heading towards the earth, out of control, and no one knew where it was going to land. But they DID know when it was going to land. It was an FSW-1A Satellite.

We have a question. Where did it land?!? We googled it and couldn't find any answers about it!!! It has gold on that thing!!!! If you got the answers, then let us know!!!!!

Eggo still make decent waffles. I just had some the other day. I can think of many other uses for that stealth suit.

"Burst the Bursts!!" with Kool-Aid Bursts

This commercial was released in 1992 and was promoting the new Kool-Aid drink called Kool Bursts. It looks like crazy stuff happens when you "Burst the Bursts"!

I was hoping Kool-Aid Man would do his trademark move and burst through a wall in this commercial. Oh...he bursted through a wall alright - through the wall of the Great Pyramids!!! And look where the boy ended up. Yup, he's upside-down so that means.........China!!

Dan Dierdorf no longer shaped like a football

Anyone remember Dan Dierdorf? He was an NFL Football player turned NFL Football commentator turned St. Louis steakhouse proprietor and owner of Dierdorf and Hart's. I'm glad to hear that he lost the weight in the 90's but I wonder how he's doing today with all of those $53.00 24-oz. Boneless Strip Steaks. You can even have the steaks delivered to your door. Genius!

TRAPPER KEEPERS!! Didn't we all used to own one?

I have fond memories of Trapper Keepers while growing up in the late 80's and early 90's. I used to buy the most RADICAL designs and they would somehow help me through those long, boring school days.

So, what type of students were you guys? Those who can't get it together? Or those who can? Or were you "born a neat-freak or a nerd with an over-sized brain"?

Milk. It does a body good. Pass it on!!

This commercial is probably one of the earliest commercials and slogans I remember. There were several made during this ad campaign and we were so excited that we had recorded one back in the mid-80's. This song used to get stuck in our heads all the time. And to this day, Milk is seriously my favorite drink. Did these Milk commercials have anything to do with it???

Ice cream for breakfast. YUM!

We're going to start off this blog with one of our favorite 80's commercials and favorite cereals... ICE CREAM CONES CEREAL! Who can resist Ice Cream Jones' catchy jingle and a bowl full of cereal that is shaped like ice cream cones? We sure can't!
