Ghost boy from "Three Men and a Baby"?

Who remembers the 1987 comedy Three Men and a Baby? More importantly, who remembers the "ghost boy"? We remember rewinding, pausing, slo-motion-ing the famous scene a million times. It was definitly a human figure in the background. But was it a ghost?

No. It was a cardboard cutout of Jack (Ted Danson) wearing a tuxedo and top hat, that was left on the set. Below is the video. You can also see the "rifle" or "shotgun" that was used by the "ghost boy" to kill himself in a separate shot if you look close enough.

The story goes that the boy killed himself in the house that the scene was filmed in. This scene was filmed on a Toronto soundstage. You make your own conclusions... (the action happens at the 0:05 and 0:35 second marks)

And below is the cardboard cutout in question

And here is the "ghost boy"

Burger King + Mini Cheeseburgers ÷ by 1987 = "Burger Bundles"

Here is a Burger King commercial from 1987 promoting Burger King's new mini cheeseburgers which they called "Burger Bundles". You could get 3 of them for $0.99 back then! And it looks like they included a pickle slice!

Was Burger King trying to cramp White Castle's style by having mini-burgers too?
We think so. Was it successful? Probably not. Do you guys remember the
"Burger Bundles"??? We don't. But they do look pretty tasty!!

There's nothing 2 sticks of TWIX can't fix

Here's another Twix candy commercial. They all had very similar themes back then. Basically showing city/working class people who are on the go and that they can function very efficiently while eating Twix. Another great song with some great dance moves.

Keep on Movin' with Peanut Butter TWIX

I remember these Twix commercials used to be on all the time. I still know the song word for word. In this commercial they mention how they have the new Peanut Butter Twix which were always my favorite kind. I believe they were discontinued for many years but think they might have come back recently. I'll check next time I'm in my local convenience store.

Just say "WHEN" Ernie!

When I was a kid in the 80's I always wondered where the Keebler Elves lived. I always thought that they lived in a random tree nearby my house. Unfortunately, I eventually found out that they were just some money making ad campaign and that they never actually lived at all and if they did live they didn't live in a tree but instead lived in the brain of some douche bag douche. Anyway..... the mass-produced conveyor belt cookies still taste pretty good if ya ask me!

Cocoa Krispies w/ a young Brian Austin Green

Here is a Kellogg's Cocoa Krispies cereal commercial that is from 1987. Notice who that young actor is? It's Brian Austin Green from the original Beverly Hills 90210!

Back then, every Cocoa Krispies box had free M&M's candies included. That's a lot of chocolate!

What kind of Campbell's kid are you?

"Are you into the books, or a bit of a clown? A broadway baby, or just hangin' around?
What kind of Campbell's kid are you?"

This song is rockin! It's the anthem of a generation. It advertises Chicken Noodle Soup, Chicken Alphabet w/ Vegetable, Meatball Alphabet w/ Vegetable, Curly Noodle w/ Chicken, and Chicken & Stars. MMMM, so many choices and so tasty!!

Sunkist Fun Fruit Trees grow Fun Fruits of course!

I remember this commercial used to be on all the time. Those Sunkist Fun Fruit trees remind me of the trees in Wizard of Oz. Except these trees are nice and they can't stop laughing!

How to get laid: According to these 3 Musketeers

Here is a 3 Musketeers commercial that is from 1987. These 3 guys are at a dance party. They came up with 3 points they need to follow in order to pick up chicks:

Point 1 - Make them come to you.
Point 2 - Never look hungry.
Point 3 - Know when Points 1 & 2 aren't working!!

Haha, Radical ! The people at this dance party are dancin' all wacky to the awesome music! Maybe if you follow their Points, you will get lucky! I wonder if they did?!

A Bo and Luke Duke Christmas!

HAPPY   HOLIDAYS   FROM   2RADICALDUDEZ!!!

This is a "Christmas Comes to Willow Creek" commercial from 1987. It's sort of like a "Dukes of Hazzard" Christmas special since both Bo and Luke Duke star in it! Also, Kim Delaney is in it (from tv's "Army Wives"). Enjoy!

Isn't it cool in pink?

I'm in love with this Cherry 7up commercial. I don't know if it's the music, the black & white cinematography with the pink overlay, the loser dweebs trying to chase some tail on a Friday night, the fact that it was filmed at the Miss America diner in NJ, or the very cute girl in the '57 Thunderbird.......

I think it's the very cute girl I'm in love with most. Who is she? Where'd she go?? To be continued.......

How to get lucky with Mouthwash & Mistletoe

HAPPY   HOLIDAYS   FROM   2RADICALDUDEZ!!!

Ok, this guy just bought his wife a glass of Scope Mouthwash for Christmas. And right before she gets upset and starts calling him an inconsiderate, cheap bastard, he whips out the Mistletoe. Mr. Smooth and his wife then proceed with a make-out session. So somehow he figured out a way to spend pennies on his wife's gift while simultaneously insulting her breath...and in the end he's getting lucky that night. Amazing power of the Mistletoe???
