Here is some random weirdness for you. We have E.T. boxing E.T. and the music they are boxing to is Queen's "We Will Rock You". I bet you never thought you'd see two E.T.'s boxing each other while doing a synchronized dance to a Queen song!!!

BREAKING NEWS: "Macho Man" Randy Savage Dead at age 58

Today we lost a legend of the 80s and 90s. "Macho Man" Randy Savage died after having a heart attack while he was driving his car, which then smashed into a tree. It is believed that the trauma from the car accident was the cause of death.

He was definitely one of our favorite wrestlers to watch back in the WWF days. We have many good memories watching him say “Oohhh Yeahhhhhhh!!!” and finishing people off with his famous elbow drop.

Randy, you will be missed!

Dock Ellis: The most radical MLB pitcher in the world

Dock Ellis pitched a no-hitter back on June 12, 1970. He was with the Pittsburgh Pirates and he pitched against the San Diego Padres. A no-hitter does not happen often and it usually marks a landmark in any pitchers career.

There's one interesting fact though. Dock Ellis was tripping on LSD while he pitched that historic performance.

Here's some quotes to back this up:

"Ellis had been visiting friends in Los Angeles under the impression he had the day off and was still high when his friend's girlfriend told him he had to pitch a game against the Padres that night. Ellis boarded a shuttle flight to the ballpark and threw a no-hitter despite not being able to feel the ball or clearly see the batter or catcher".

Here's Dock's account on the day:

"I can only remember bits and pieces of the game. I was psyched. I had a feeling of euphoria. I was zeroed in on the (catcher's) glove, but I didn't hit the glove too much. I remember hitting a couple of batters and the bases were loaded two or three times. The ball was small sometimes, the ball was large sometimes, sometimes I saw the catcher, sometimes I didn't. Sometimes I tried to stare the hitter down and throw while I was looking at him. I chewed my gum until it turned to powder. I started having a crazy idea in the fourth inning that Richard Nixon was the home plate umpire, and once I thought I was pitching a baseball to Jimi Hendrix, who to me was holding a guitar and swinging it over the plate. They say I had about three to four fielding chances. I remember diving out of the way of a ball I thought was a line drive. I jumped, but the ball wasn't hit hard and never reached me".

Dock Ellis is the most radical MLB pitcher in the world. BTW, I don't give a shit that this happened in the 70's and not in the 80's or 90's. If you care, then go fuck yourself. Now go watch this damn video...

It's NERF Liquidator Football or nothin'

Here is a NERF Liquidator Football commercial from 1995. This football has a really cool design which creates a perfect spiral and allows you to throw the ball far as ever! There's a "hydro ring" filled with liquid that's around the football that helps you complete that perfect Hail Mary pass in the end zone for the win!

Do you know what NERF stands for? Well, it stands for "Non-Expanding Recreational Foam". We personally don't remember the NERF Liquidator Football but certainly remember the classic fluorescent colored NERF spiral footballs which everyone in the neighborhood had back in the early 90's.

Do you guys remember the NERF Liquidator Football? We googled it and it's nowhere to be found anywhere online. Looks radical though!

Here is an All Sport sports drink commercial that is from 1996. The year is 2020. NFL football stars Steve Young III and Jerry Rice III are just about to step back on the field to finish Super Bowl...I mean Global Bowl LXVIII. SF is beating NY 540-310. But first they gotta drink their All Sport sports drink to make sure they still got the energy to complete the game. Guess what? They still got it!!

Super Bowl XII Dallas Cowboys vs. Denver Broncos: Touchdown??

Here is a commercial that is sponsored by Tri-State Toyota Dealers and it's from 1980. It is called "The Winning Moment" and it shows a touchdown pass during Super Bowl XII in 1978. The teams were the Dallas Cowboys vs. the Denver Broncos. The touchdown pass is from Roger Staubach to Butch Johnson.

Would that be called a touchdown today? Hmmm...What do you think??

WWF Figures! DIG IT!!

Here is an old WWF Wrestling toy figures commercial from 1992. This commercial came out a decade before the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) became World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

It stars "Macho Man" Randy Savage and it includes wrestling figures such as "The Hulkster" Hulk Hogan, The Texas Tornado, Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake, and Sgt. Slaughter (who makes a very quick cameo in this commercial).

Does Randy's voice ever start hurting after a long day of screaming???

Watch Kirby Puckett throw a man out from 400 ft. away!

Here is a Pinnacle by Score Baseball Cards commercial that was recorded in 1992.

This commercial features the late Kirby Puckett throwing out the runner all the way deep in center field. Just several months prior to this commercial, Puckett hit his walk-off homer in Game Six of the 1991 World Series which some say was the highlight of his career. Unfortunately, he died of a stroke on March 6, 2006 at the age of 45.

Pinnacle was a trading card company that competed against the "Big Three" companies (Donruss, Fleer, & Topps) from 1988-1998. Their first card set was called Score and it was the first to have a color mugshot of the player and 2nd to have a full color back. Pinnacle's player biographies were the most extensive of any major baseball card set of its time. This set being featured in this commercial (at 893 cards) were among the largest card sets of that time.
