World Trade Center 1990: A Tourist's View

Today it's rainy. It's sad. It doesn't feel like a normal day.

It's the 10 year anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

"Today's TWA" - Well actually, 1988's TWA

This commercial came out in 1988 when TWA was most successful (carrying more than 50% of all the trans-Atlantic passengers). Shortly after, they would file for bankruptcy and be acquired by American Airlines.

Well, at least this lady is having fun posing in front of famous landmarks! I guess she traveled alone?

Here's a TWA Airlines commercial from 1988. The first part of the commercial shows two businessmen crossing their legs at the same time! The second half shows a quality control team member enjoying his flight. QUALITY CONTROL TEAM MEMBER??????? HE GETS PAID TO COMPLAIN????????????
