Blind Date and Roger Lodge prepared us for the new millenium

As you may have noticed, we haven't posted many videos from the end of the 90s, particularly '97, '98, and '99. There is, however, a show that deserves recognition from the sunset years of the 90s. That show is Blind Date, hosted by the one and only Roger Lodge (aka Rodge Lodge and Rodger Lodger).

In the show, cameras follow around couples on blind dates while commentary in the form of funny subtitles, wacky animations, and cooky "thought bubbles" was added by the show's producers.

NOTE: We know that the majority of the show didn't even take place in the 90s. BUT one year DID take place in the 90s and that was the year 1999. Who knows? Maybe Blind Date prepared us for the craziness of the post-9/11 2000s (or at least the annoying pop-up ads that you witness in some of the videos above)

Sensodyne Toothpaste: Wives know best when it comes to sensitive teeth

Here are two Sensodyne Toothpaste commercials that we recorded back in the summer of 1995. They both aired during "Those Incredible Animals" on the Discovery Channel which we recorded back then because animals are radical.

Both commercials are pretty similar with the wife giving the husband the ability to help his sensitive teeth. Of course both husbands are a bit reluctant, but after their Sensodyne experience, both mouths are feeling fresh, cool, and clean!!

This husband kind of reminds me of Jefferson from "Married with Children". Well, at least he can enjoy his iced teas now - thanks to his wife!!

This guy sticks his finger in his wife's toothpaste.......and she likes it.
