Assisted suicide advocate Jack Kevorkian died this morning at the age of 83 in Detroit. He had been hospitalized since last month with pneumonia and kidney problems. Jack Kevorkian was famous for helping about 130 people die during the 1990s. He was eventually found guilty of second-degree murder and was sentenced to 10–25 years in prison. He was released early for good behavior and only served 8 years.
